In addition to Erlangen, Forchheim and Amberg-Weiden, Bamberg now also has a “Medical Valley Center Bamberg” since 31 May 2019, and thus also an official location of Medical Valley in? the European Metropolitan Region Nuremberg. In the Medical Valley Center Bamberg, Partners are working on four top-class projects regarding future-oriented innovation in the healthcare industry and therefore act as an international magnet for companies in the sector. The focus of the “Medical Valley Center Bamberg” lies on the topics of digital health, hygiene, as well as on innovative and advanced training, – all of which are continually gaining in importance worldwide.
A unique feature of the Bamberg Center is its high level of related application, as well as the close networking between research, healthcare providers and patients in the region. This fact guarantees local and interested companies or start-ups a perfect environment to validate their business ideas and gain market access.
